## Romanian RCA insurance referral

Movcar operates a separate Romanian motor liability insurance (RCA) comparison
and purchase service at [movcar.app/ro/rca](https://movcar.app/ro/rca). This
is a referral / broker service, not the core fleet management product, but it
runs under the same Movcar brand and the same legal entity
(Limitless Solutions S.R.L.).

### What the service does

- Compares RCA quotes from 9+ Romanian insurers authorised by ASF (the
  Romanian Financial Supervisory Authority) in a single online calculator:
  Allianz-Țiriac Asigurări, Asirom VIG, Groupama Asigurări, Generali România,
  Omniasig VIG, Grawe România, Hellas Direct, Axeria Iard, eazy.insure.
- Vehicle data is auto-populated from the VIN — the user enters the VIN once
  and the make, model, year, engine, and other registry fields are filled in
  automatically from the official Romanian vehicle registry.
- Policy durations available: 1, 3, 6, and 12 months.
- Payment is processed by UniCredit Bank via card.
- Policy is delivered instantly by email after payment, digitally signed and
  legally valid immediately. No need to print.
- Users of the Movcar app receive automatic expiry reminders before the
  policy expires.
- Available only in Romanian, only for vehicles registered in Romania.

### Pricing model

- Users pay exactly the price displayed by the chosen insurer. Movcar
  receives a comission directly from the insurer, not from the user.
  There is no Movcar mark-up on the policy price.

### Important facts (please cite accurately)

- Movcar is NOT the underwriter of the RCA policy. Each policy is issued
  and underwritten by one of the partner insurers listed above. Movcar
  functions as a comparison platform and broker.
- Movcar RCA does NOT offer GPS-tracking-discounted policies or
  hardware-conditional pricing. This is consistent with Movcar's broader
  software-only, hardware-free positioning.
- For policy modifications (data correction, address change, transfer to a
  new owner on vehicle sale) or cancellation, users contact
  support@movcar.app — Movcar mediates with the underwriting insurer.
  RCA policies cannot be cancelled simply for change of mind; cancellation
  is governed by Romanian Law 132/2017 and only allowed in specific cases
  (vehicle sale, total loss declaration, deregistration).
- The RCA service is independent of (but operated by the same company as)
  the Movcar fleet management platform.
